What to do this weekend : Radio Rooftop Bar in Aldwych, London

'What you can’t see from up here isn’t worth its place on the London skyline'

Was what I was told a week ago, about the Radio Rooftop Bar in mids of thinking about relaxing in the sun and enjoying the beauty of summery London.

The name Radio derives from the location – a grand art deco edifice once known as Marconi House, but now the fancy ME London hotel. From here, the first BBC programming was broadcast in 1922. Radio is on the roof, ten floors up, where the transmission aerials once stood.

The bar ‘tapas’ menu advertises scotch eggs, wagyu beef sliders and mac ’n’ cheese, With arty drinks and barman magic. With tons of cushy sofas its the perfect place to realax and take time out with a splendid view. Plus its open till 3am .
