Raf Simons floral DIOR DEBUTE ...

Raf Simons first Houte- Couture show for Dior in Paris..
Dior has been the centre of fashion gossip since February last year, when its then-creative director, John Galliano, was arrested formaking anti-Semitic remarks in a Parisian bar and sacked two months later in April. The rumour mill went into overdrive regarding which designer might succeed him,so today the 2nd of July has come with a memorabilia.
As I personally could not be there.. (due to lack of all the necessary ingredients  ), I read through a couple of reviews from: the guardian, the daily beast ( not so kind ) / elle.com notnetherless agreeing that Raf did deliver a mesmerising  show, which is what Houte Couture is all about . The guests were seated in a series of connecting salons, each one wallpapered in a thick blanket of fresh flowers. The salon bleu drew its name from the thousands of delphiniums blossoming from the walls. Another room was covered in white orchids. Yet another one bloomed with peonies and roses.' The scent was exquisite. The sight was magical' A couple of my favourite images from the show:

The colour / shape structure is immaculate

Loose top with floor length panels at the back ? Interesting to see how quick will this get to high street .. or Zara ?
